Looks like the SMSA is looking for a new district registrar. Do you have what it takes?
Surrey Metro Soccer Association is looking for a District Registrar.
DISTRICT REGISTRAR JOB DESCRIPTION
NOTE: This is a Non-Voting Position on the Surrey Metro Soccer Association (SMSA) Board.
You must be detail oriented, have good computer/Excel skills, be able to work well with others and under strict deadlines. This is a year round position, with the “busy season” being June through to November.
Your main responsibility is to co-ordinate the collection of registration data from the five SMSA club registrars throughout the season. This involves:
1) Approving/verifying all players and team staff information per the team lists provided by club registrars.
2) Approving/verifying all ID cards (per above team lists)
3) Ensuring all team staff have cleared their Criminal Record Checks.
4) Submitting all registration data to BC Soccer according to their specific requirements and timelines.
5) Keeping track of all player add-ons, deletions and transfers for submission to BC Soccer.
6) Other Duties as assigned by the board.
Additional duties:
1) Out of District forms
2) Transfer forms
3) Verification of players for Travel Papers and all Permits
4) Keep/update master list of all ID numbers
5) Spring soccer lists for BC Soccer
6) Reporting player numbers for the City of Surrey
7) Submitting a breakdown of all club numbers for SMSA Treasurer
8) Prepare AGM sign-in sheets
Prior work experience as Club or District registrar in sports organization is highly desirable.
Renumeration is will be based on your experience , scope of job assignement and performance.
