District separation for clubs is a mess.
Just looked at standings today and see that many teams that had very low point totals (Div 1) somehow made their way into the Coastal Cup.
While I see a need to have some sort of inclusiveness, having cellar dwelling teams get ushered into Coastal cup...

The entrance to make it into Coastal Cup has not really changed.
In terms of the Langley team example, I agree with easoccer comments for the most part in that the club & tech staff should have placed this team properly.
Unfortunately, it's their loss with is sad for them.....
Likewise, 4 the kids! Correct in that BC Soccer and MLS are doing good things but there are broken elements to be sure.
I really like the adoption of both community and development levels @ the soccer club level for what I think is the U9-12 age groups.
