Seeing as the district 4 website has been converted I think that group has the most info. And the website was up for sevetal weeks now.
D5 is more in the dark. But if you are like me and curious by nature I'm sure you would have asked your club why the sites have changed, etc. And found out...
I think that for those divisions lower than div 1, it would have been nice to have at least a 2-4 league games out of our geographical group. Maybe even just to the area adjacent. Since we are one big district now anyway. Other wise what was the point? Cant be just for div 1's sake.
Thoughts?
With the crappy weather and missed games the last couple of seasons (especially last year) you would think getting the league started on time would be a priority.
Good catch (looks to be hosted by that company as well)

Its nice to know, but to be fair, when have we ever been guaranteed a game time earlier than the tues before?
its also possible we could be delayed a week. maybe we start the 16th?
each year there are circumstances which cause the delay. i think the merging of the leagues this time around is a...
its an elimination playoff from teams in the same dtstrict to determine who goes to the Coastal Cup. In SMSA of previous years it was Called the Sandra Duncan Cup. Not sure how it will be handled this year.
Should make it easy to merge the girls down the road. (BC Coastal Girls Soccer League) Or at the least have a similar name so they appear in unison. Plus It bring some relation in name to the bc coastal cup.
It should be, but even last year a couple higher div 2 teams throttled lowdr div 1 teams in cup play. so its not so cut and dry.
Label the teams 1-8. It doesnt really matter. Just as Silver 1 & 2 Doesnt matter. As long as the groups are competitive. And I honestly dont think using either naming...
why stop there then? why not div1-10 top to bottom? or a-k,etc like in cup? personally i think 2 categories at each level is fair. gold through bronze. because there is definatelty a blurred line and it should still be competitive. if not your team is in the wrong place not the system. but not...
why stop there then? whitecaps div1 bcspl div 2, i mean its not the point really. my point was more along the lines of people calling things silver, gold, etc. even though we were organized into div tiers. District 4 used gold silver. and they are using their format right? and district 4 had a...
If we are going by district 4 structure then I guess we will have bronze 1&2 silver 1&2 gold 1&2. I mean we still still called div 2 silver anyway. Better I think.
Also it will provide a little better separation between team abilities if they do go that route.
Maybe because Im from Surrey and may be easier than The wack, but Id love to play in all the areas of greater van. Not so much mission and chilliwack. lol
