The one issue I see with the Whitecaps Academy is that they pick kids out at 13 years old and expect them to train for at least two years before they get to play competitive games again... these are kids, they want to play. What league does the "pre-residency" team play in? Sure they can play...
Not surprised that she's moving on from district as well - she left her position as Surrey United youth registrar before last season. She will be missed for sure!
Yeah it's not the summer soccer at all that I object to, it's great that they want to keep playing all year IMO. It's that a coach can pick up an entire summer team and drop them at any level they want without any evaluations?
"Please review rosters of PL clubs to see the number of Indo-Canadians playing who came from the Newton Area."
Because Indo-Canadians don't come from anywhere but Newton. *rolls eyes*
How many SFC boys are playing for Whitecaps prospects?
Also just FYI, being permitted up DOES NOT COUNT as "playing a league game prior to any cup game". Any player transferred has to play a league game with the team AFTER the transfer to be eligible for District/Coastal Cup play with his new team.
Well, they'll probably be there for the season now and will probably win whichever league cup group they get put in - I wonder if they'll be seeded for District Cup with the 99's or the 2000's?
Complete rubbish. Teach them how to do it properly earlier, those who aren't comfortable with it won't do it in games anyway, and those who are should know how to do it correctly.
