I am under the assumption / hope that since there will be 4 weeks off until another score is reported that someone in the league can input the scores up to this point. It only makes sense that if it's going to happen, this is the time to do it.
Teams 9-14 should stay in Div 2, drop the bottom 2 from Div 1 then move 1-8 in div 2 up to Div 1
13 teams in Div 1, 8 in Div 2. But I'm just going off the numbers as I have no clue what these teams have.
Of course the answer is very good & easy to coach but....what do you do when you have players in practice who seem to grasp the concepts, understand what you're saying but just can't seem to execute in game situations or lack the enthusiasm in games vs a talented, game breaker player in actual...
I think as a coach, the preparation (key word) that goes into a practice or game is a lot & when maybe half of the team is fooling around & the whole group is entirely not "into" it while you're delivering an important message or lesson, it becomes frustrating. Goes back to the "serious"...
Yeah logic would show that you are right. That's too bad. If it's an ongoing issue with the same bottom three teams, they should be dropped down the following year. You would think the league would want to keep a healthy balance of competition.
In this situation though, what benefit are the...
Coaches Im wondering the mentality of players on your team. Do your players care about tactics, next weeks opponents, standings, structure or style of play your team plays? Or is it in one ear out the other for your players?
I can't speak for msl or BCPL, but at the gold / div 1 & under, I...
Coaches what do you think? Do you get enough space at practice? I see 4 teams per field & it's tough. Do you think that's enough? How can you really teach the game with such limited space? Thoughts?? I always feel for that team in the middle!
In regards to Nationals, is BC & Ontario the only provinces who have PL teams enter the tournament? Whereas every other provinces would be entering metro caliber teams?
They just need to pay someone $100 a week & get the scores out in a timely manner.
This wait has been ridiculous. I read on the 4d website that the person responsible passed away & it said he was in charge of msl & 5d, but those scores for those leagues are constantly being updated. So...
They should just pay someone x amount per month or something to keep on it. Like an incentive to get the scores &'standings out in a timely manner.
I see the 5D standings are half & half. Lots of empty scores. I guess some teams don't bother sending the score in?
What's everyone's take on GD...
Imagine if Surrey had one msl team per age group with all the Surrey teams combined? They'd be dominating every age group easily. Each age group would probably be able to field 2 competitive teams. They'd be way more powerful as one unit opposed to 5 or whatever it is separate clubs.
Look at the bc coastal cup A & B...how many Vancouver teams make it to the final? Maybe one per year.
Msl players at gold level. Go look at the u14 & 15 boys A cup. See how far the two Van United gold teams got. Surely they could compete yearly at the metro level if there beating metro teams...
Yeah but across the board, how many Fusion & VFC teams are competitive? Strictly on the boys side because I got no affiliation with the girls side. I think 2/6 were strong at metro & maybe 1 team at Fusion? 2 VFC msl clubs would fail miserably. Every age group would have a VFC B team in last...
