BCSA does not take action like this lightly. They would have already done an investigation, spoken to witnesses, read emails etc. It's a big deal that takes lots of (personal) time. Also, the people involved are entitled to a certain amount of privacy until allegations are proven or not.

So at the risk of pointing out the obvious, once again it's the kids that suffer in this struggle for power. People need to get over themselves already.
Yes, once upon a time the Boys had 4 clubs (based on geography) that long ago formed into one. The Girls have only ever been one small club and it's only around 500 members. Richmond District board is simply made up of the same directors that come from the clubs. All the same people run everything.
My point was, that 4 is a lot and I haven't seen that before. Why is one called Vancouver United?

My son is U17 and I...
No, I don't think you're wrong. They do that in some age groups. But I asked the person that originally told me about relegation. It would be for the following season. Bottom teams will have to play for the right to stay in MSL the next season. They won't simply be grandfathered in, as they...
Yeah sorry, not trying to ride you. It just seems to me that there are way more teams rather than less (with the exception of U18, which has been scaled down as a result of adding a U17 group).
I've also heard that MSL has introduced relegation this year so those teams that can't compete will...
Great post. I agree with you completely. Too many clubs have these dinosaurs (the cradle to gravers) that just refuse to evolve but also won't go away. Transparency and accountability are key in moving forward. The worst words to hear are, "This is how it's always been done....". Often...
