Good luck to all the BC teams!

Quite the year for Surrey United, especially on the boys side... I believe the BC final for the U18s was between Surrey's U18 and U17 squads

Might try and get down to South Surrey this week to catch a game or 2 of the U16s - anyone here getting out there at all?

Cheers,

Regs.

U18 Surrey United off to a good start with a 1-0 win over Manitoba this morning!

For those who are interested, U18 games are being streamed LIVE:

Community One - U18 Soccer

U18 Surrey United plays at 10:30AM Pacific (I think... listed as 3:00PM Newfie time).

Girls ended up losing 1-0 to Manitoba :(

BTW, had the time wrong above as they are playing in PEI, not Newfoundland (so only 4 hour time difference) :)

PEI is awesome as a host, these teams will enjoy the experience on the Island immensely - I was lucky enough to play in the Senior Nationals back in 2004 and the community there is awesome... great memories!

U16 Boys BC beat Ontario 3 -0 in the final .

QU Girls beat Ontario 3 -1 in the final.

Weather was horrible and both finals were played on the 2 worst grass fields no 7 & 8. They should have been either played on the 2 upper grass fields no 5 & 6 or even on the 2 turf fields as they were available.

Surrey United as a club represented BC amazingly well on the boys side:

U14 SILVER
U16 GOLD
U18 BRONZE

On the Senior side of things, BC also did well:

Mens Open: BRONZE
Mens Masters: GOLD
Womens Masters: GOLD

Other than the Masters result, BC females didn't medal - a cause for concern?
